1. How do I add a Table of Contents to my page?

  • Go to your group's wiki page.
  • Click on 'Edit.'
  • Click on the down arrow next to Save and select Text Editor.
  • Place the cursor on the part of the page where you would like the Table of Contents to show up.
  • Type:
  • Click Save
  • To make words show up in the Table of Contents, make the words a Heading.

2. How do I add a map to my wiki page?


  • Go to Google maps
  • In the search box - type in a location and click 'Search Maps' (i.e. Galapagos Islands, Ecuador)
  • Click on the 'Link' option towards the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  • Copy the code in the 'Paste HTML to embed in website' box.
  • Go to your group's wiki page.
  • Click on 'Edit'
  • Click on the TV icon in the tool bar.
  • Click on 'Maps'
  • Click on 'Google Maps'
  • Paste the code
  • Click 'Save' - your map should show up!

3. How do I add a video to my wiki page?

  • First - you need to go to YouTube or Teacher Tube, locate a video and copy the embeddable code.
  • Next - go to your group's wiki page and click on 'Edit'
  • Click on the TV icon on the tool bar
  • Click on 'Video'
  • Select the name of the place that you retrieved the video (i.e. YouTube, Teacher Tube etc.)
  • Paste the embeddable code that you copied from YouTube, Teacher Tube or wherever you retrieved the video.
  • Click 'Save' - your video should show up!
